We believe that promting children's wellbeing is an important part of our role and Early Years educators.
We encourage all children to look after their bodies, physically and mentally. We learn about and participate in exercises, healthy eating, good oral hygiene habits and keeping our minds healthy too.
We openly talk about feelings, special people and life experineces with the children. We encourage positive affirmations and activities such as quiet time and yoga as part of our curriculum and nursery ethos
If we identify children that need a little extra support managing feelings or coping with life experinces our Wellbeing Lead will spend extra time with them, talking to them and doing activites to support their needs.
